About Missouri River Products
Dedicated owners executing their golf industry product vision

Missouri River Products (MRP) has been locally owned and operated since its inception in 2000. Originally founded as Missouri River Plastics, the company rebranded as Missouri River Products in 2007, but our commitment to quality and customer service has remained the same. Our headquarters have been in Cascade, Montana, for over 25 years, just a few hundred yards from the banks of the Missouri River—renowned for its blue-ribbon fly fishing.

Meet the Founders
Founders and owners, John Meyer and Doug Jacobe, were friends working in the golf industry when they partnered to launch their unique business focused on golf cars. Their vision was to supply innovative, inexpensive products to the golf industry. They developed a pioneering solution for sand bottles and, within three years, became dominant in the market for divot repair products.

John and Doug attribute their continued success to these factors:
Price Stability
We are proud of our policy of not raising prices due to “market trends.” In some instances, we’ve resisted price increases and for as long as eight years.
Reliable Inventory
We continually seek other avenues to source raw materials and align with suppliers who share our values. Sometimes, that means committing to suppliers for the best price 12-24 months in advance.
Our Track Record
Since starting our business in 2000, we have NEVER had a back order and, to this day, have a 100% delivery success rate.
Unparalleled golf industry and golf car product experience
John Meyer
Prior to starting MRP, John Meyer spent 18 years at American Golf Corporation (AGC), three as a golf car mechanic and 15 overseeing the company’s 25,000 golf cars. His oversight included negotiating national contracts for purchasing and leasing golf cars, adhering to periodic maintenance requirements, processing warranty claims, managing recall issues, settling condition requirements at lease conclusion, and conducting maintenance seminars across the country.
Doug Jacobe
Doug Jacobe started his professional career as a golf car field mechanic for the EZGO southern California branch, interacting daily with many of the AGC courses in southern and northern CA, specifically the golf course owners, superintendents, and mechanics. His duties included setting up new fleet deliveries and overseeing return fleets. AGC later hired him to oversee their golf car fleets in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
